I think Fudge Brownie Cupcakes pretty much says it all. A yummy fudgie cupcake recipe that makes up about 6 average size cupcakes great for when you just need a chocolate hit or don’t need to feed a crowd. I topped these easy to bake, no mixer required, cupcakes with some buttery icing and then rolled out some pretty purple fondant and topped off the cupcake with a royal icing flower…just because. Biting into these was heavenly and will satisfy anybody’s craving for a tasty good quality chocolate treat.
Bake in a preheated 350F oven for about 15-20 minutes. This recipe will easily double.
For the icing I whipped up my go to recipe…these measurements are approximate, about 1/2 cup room temperature butter plus 1 teaspoon vanilla. Mix well with beater and beat in about 3-4 cups or so of icing sugar on low speed, add in milk or cream to get a nice spreading consistency. Whip on high speed of Kitchen Aid, about a # 4-6 for 45 seconds.
This is a view of the finished cupcake.
Beautiful and flavourful.
